daisy hill is unintentionally the funniest character i've ever made and here's why
his name is functionally a location. he keeps ending up in situations where it's oddly appropriate. he was almost a mortician. he is currently a florist. he is a part-time moderator for a forum called Pushing Up Daisies and it has not been lost on anyone.
it's a chosen name to boot and he specifically likes being called by his full name. daisy hill actively chooses to be a location.
he has a shocking resemblance to one of the neighborhood murderers to the point that i feel like he must have gotten questions about it once or twice after everything came to light.
which is doubly funny because i received him as part of a trade and he was meant to look like a character i would make.
which he DOES. it's just that the character he looks like didn't exist yet.
at the time i rarely drew my ocs so the whole thing was kind of just an epic coincidence... or perhaps subconscious influence.
[insert image of daisy hill and said other guy here]
he also kind of just looks like me if i never stopped being blonde. which also made said design trade kinda funny.
daisy hill is undead and has a shockingly undramatic backstory about it. he is perhaps singularly my least troubled undead oc. he was diagnosed with a heart condition and figured he couldn't die from it if he was already dead.
he was not actively dying.
he's just future-proof.
which is like, if it works it works, i guess.
the very early early earliest concept for his character was inspired by a show (pushing daisies) i both have not seen and only know the vaguest details about, which is now immortalized in his name.
he has never shown a facial or verbal emotion in his life and is not starting now.
he is the man women prefer. and men prefer. bisexual.
